For many companies that are buyers of IT services – optimizing their IT Portfolio means getting the best from their IT investments. But what if you are a seller of IT Services and Products - like so many Silicon Halton companies?
How do you optimize your IT Services and Products portfolio that you go to market with? How do you move from individual client projects that aren't repeatable to productizing solutions that are repeatable? How do you scale your solutions to become more profitable?
Founded in Halton Region in 2003, Inovex first sought out projects with clients in several industries, including: Education, Oil and Gas, Automation, and Healthcare. Over the years, they have grown to a 10 person company and have focused their portfolio - productizing key solutions for the Healthcare and Environmental Services industries. Their key product, Canvass, is a data analysis and management platform that currently services the entire Regional Municipality of York.
They discussed how they developed their current IT Services and Products Portfolio mix, the hard choices and decisions they made along the way, and give us ideas on how you can do the same for your growing business.
